Welcome!

When a young person joins Scouting BSA, they embark on a journey; A process of discovery. Discovery of the world around them, discovery of themselves, and discovery of what they can achieve.

This journey will help the Scout learn, grow, and mature while they have fun. The journey includes the Scout and his family. The journey includes making new friends. Every activity in this journey gives them, their family, and friends the chance to discover and share together.

The journey provides them with a feeling of belonging to a positive and fun group of others and caring adults.

The journey provides them with new social skills that will help them get along with others, a greater understanding of other people and the world around them.

This journey provides them with new mental skills from reading and writing, to organizing and objective thinking, and a system of values that will help them make good decisions.

The journey provides them with self-confidence and stronger self-esteem.

These values help the young Scout make good decisions throughout their lifetime and gives them confidence, as they become the leaders of tomorrow.
